Ran Shabo is a multidisciplinary musician, composer, arranger and conductor, bridging the gap between music and sound. Graduate of the Faculty of Composition of the Rimon School of Music specialization in film and cinematic composing, he is also a graduate of BPM college, the Sound Department.

Since the founding of his Bazel Studios in 2012, he specializes in production and sound. Bazel Studios in Tel Aviv focuses on musical creation and production of a large variety of musical styles, including the production of 360 degree soundtracks, 3D Surround Sound – the sound experience which encloses the listener.

Bazel Studios features the most advanced recording equipment available and contains two control rooms for the production of unique and inclusive 3D soundtracks up to 11.1 speakers.
Ran provides services in composition and production of soundtracks for film, commercials, theater and more.

Alongside his activity in the Bazel Studios, he is the driving musical force and the producer behind the ensemble “Shabo” consisting of 10 musicians, graduates of the leading musical academic institutions in Israel. The ensemble includes 3 vocalists, 4 wood winds, a drummer, a bass-player, a pianist, and a guitar player. The group performs in cultural events and festivals across the country and deliver the audience a local and unique musical experience which is saturated with influences of Jazz, Classical Music, Arab Music, Pop Folk, and a combination of Polo-rhythmic African and Middle-eastern beats.
